How To Stop Playing The Victim

Do you sometimes find yourself playing the victim? Have you ever been stuck in something that you considered a problem or a bother, but somehow you just could not get yourself out of it? Are there things that other people do that you dislike or that really upset you, yet you continue to tolerate their behaviour? At such times, you might want to ask yourself:

“What’s in it for me?”

That one question could help you break free of bothersome habits and people.

Listen to the full aduio using the player below:

Be truthful. Then see what you can do to satisfy those unmet emotional needs by replacing those unhealthy habits and relationships with healthy activities and relationships, or working on those unhealthy relationships in order to make them healthy relationships.
