Characteristics Of An Entrepreneur
A DiSC® Profile Based View
In this interview I discuss the characteristics of an entrepreneur as assessed using the DiSC® profile. The interview was conducted on Radio Phoenix’s “The Business Leaders” show, which aims to discuss various issues related to entrepreneurship and to offer guidance to aspiring and established entrepreneurs. The show is the brainchild of WiseFocus Media, which specialises in Media Buying and Planning, Media Strategy Development and Trade Marketing. I am interviwed on this show by the Director of WiseFocus Media, Wiseman Zulu. Using the DiSC® profiling system is an objective way to assess and understand your behaviour style. There are certain characteristics that have been shown by the profile to be key in entrepreneurship. More importantly, if you find that you are not strong in any of these characteristics all is not lost. Knowing your weaknesses is only a step to resolving and overcoming them. Coupled with the right coaching, such as Power Coaching™ with Mind Kinetics™ (PCMK®), taking a DiSC® assessment will enable you to recognise and change those behaviours that are not conducive to being an entrepreneur.
